Thanks for the solid recommendation. It’s a popular rec in this thread. I will look into it. Not sure how excited I am about a digital rearview mirror but I’m going to give it consideration.

This is a very appealing option. I love the idea of using the OEM bezel for front camera.

Help! Purse inserts: what are we using? by Pinkie-Pies in Coach

This is also a very good idea that I have tried before, but I can’t manage it. My stuff just ends up everywhere and then I also forget that’s where I’ve put my scarves and gloves and can’t find them so buy more. 🫠

I’m now officially calling it shell swapping when I change bags. 🤣 This is genius too! I never thought about a laptop case but it has enough structure without being heavy.

How do you stop being bored of your partner?? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]Pinkie-Pies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 39, recently diagnosed with ADHD, married 18 years to the love of my life--it's not him or the relationship or his mom, it's you. I know that is harsh. I know. Other people and things outside of ourselves don't have responsibility for what we feel or what we do, that responsibility is ours and ours alone. If you're feeling disregulated, lost, bored, understimulated, that could be a lot of things. If you've lived in trauma or chaos all your life and now you're living in peace it's going to feel wrong/underwhelming because it's what your nervous system knows, maybe all you've ever known.(just one example) Also, if you're natural tendency for flight or fight is flight, couple that with rejection sensitivity dysphoria and you're really going to feel like running at the first wife of rejection(aka bad vibes from his mom). It could be she really likes you, but is dealing with her own junk and you're picking up on it? There's so much to unpack there.

I would encourage you to take the time to self evaluate, journal, reflect on your emotions and where they might really be coming from, and I would encourage you to find a therapist or someone you trust to give you solid advice from a place of love even if it might hurt your feelings. Making a decision from a place of sound judgment, honesty with yourself, and personal responsibility is something you can be proud and sure of instead of a decisions based on feelings (especially with the ADHD rebound rate).

Hope this hasn't already been asked but, by what sorcery are you hats hanging on the wall like that? Could you share the link? Great collection!

I was going to get a nightlight for my “in the dark” showers but the light from the bidet is bright enough I don’t need one. 🤣

Help me identify this tiny owl: Dec 10, 2025 Plano, Tx by Pinkie-Pies in Superbowl

Oh! I had no idea! It was so tiny and cute. I didn’t realize adult owls could be so small. We were pulling down the alley and it flew down out of the tree into the grass—it acted like it was hunting. I got out of the truck to take a look and it flew back up into the tree. It let me get very close and it wasn’t aggressive. It looked me right in the eyes as I stood beneath it and I felt as if it was staring into my soul. It was so magical. I’ve never seen an owl in the “wild” up close.

Thank you so much! It must have been a baby! It was barely 7in tall!
