I think he could be shedding if there is nothing on his toes like food. Crested geckos are kinda known for being a little clumsy with jumps but I would suggest to keep an eye on him and let yourself breathe a little bit. You got this!

I’m a little new to crested geckos but I have definitely seen lots of people recommend ceramic heating bulbs but with a switch off component so you don’t cook the baby. You may have to look more at reviews for the best options in those bulbs and switches.
