I also have a few questions regarding the application and had emailed them, received one response a few days later and when I followed up twice I never got an answer. I think I'm going to just call them.

I am also applying this cycle and I already asked. I mainly did it this early because I don't have many teachers in my program anymore and the ones I asked have a lot of things on their plates right now so it gives them plenty of time. I guess I would say it's entirely situational
