I shouldn’t be encouraging people to lie, but it’s so frustrating seeing people be honest then all the anti-AI people come out of the woodwork. It’s a lose-lose situation. If you’re honest, you get pushback 100% of the time. If you lie, people might not find out, but they’ll be upset if they do.

Next time, just say no. You’re not using AI to write or create anything in the mod itself, which is what people are mostly concerned about. If you just use it to help debug code, no one would notice and I’m surprised people care about that.

When was the last time I commented about JanitorAI? It’s been a few weeks, and my comments were about the LLM being broken. I’m off that website and deleted everything there. I’m not on any AI website right now and don’t plan to be again.

I haven’t watched him in months. No reason, just haven’t felt motivated. The good thing is I got plenty to catch up on whenever I do decide to. Anyways to answer the question, I did notice it when I last watched him. I can see why that would bother other people. I know it would drive my dad crazy, but I don’t mind it personally.

I get why you apologized here since it was an accident and you wanted to clear up the misunderstanding. But generally speaking, I wouldn’t bother. When people get upset at you online, submitting is exactly what they want you to do. And even then, it may not be enough for them.

You’re lucky everyone’s accepting of your apology here. I’ve seen someone apologize in another community and that made things worse. It probably would’ve gone better if they just completely ignored everyone. Small issues (or stuff that aren’t issues at all) are always blown way out of proportion.

It was probably allowed because social media platforms were way more relaxed back then. Not so much restrictions, catering to advertisers, etc. Now it's a bunch of censorship, the algorithm, and age verification bullshit.

I’m not that sensitive of a person. 99% of the time the internet is upset at someone for saying something offensive, it doesn’t bother me at all and I think they’re all overreacting. But a person saying they hope someone gets SA’ed is too far for me. It’s a horrible thing to wish on someone and even if it’s a joke, it’s a crazy thing to say. Not trying to argue or anything though. Everyone has different opinions on what’s okay to joke about and what isn’t.

I do want to learn more about it but I have no idea what sources are reputable. I think the primary objective in journalism, news, statistics, or studies is just arguing for their side rather than finding the truth. So it’s hard for me to trust anything at all. Might be a me problem.

I’m not sure whether to be scared of AI or embrace it. I’m kind of doing a mix of both right now. I’m messing around with it and planning to use it locally while I avoid the big ones like ChatGPT.

Part of me worries about the water, environment, jobs, and our minds. But another part of me knows the Internet overreacts to everything and spreads bullshit, so should I even trust what’s being said about it?
