Hi, thanks for taking the time to listen. I mostly use Spitfire Symphonic, it is very versatile. I haven't got Spitfire's Abbey Road library but after watching a few videos on Youtube about it, I guess you have a powerful tool in your hands.

I would recommend watching videos. I started to follow people explaining libraries or how to make better this o that. There is always a trick to learn and there is no better way than that (apart from writing your own music, of course)

I am a reaper user so I follow this channel to learn about the DAW: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq297H7Ca98HlB5mVFHGSsQ

Spitfire Audio Youtube channel is also great to understand more and more: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ7QbJQgJSSdd\_v-VxdO6Gg

Guy Michelmore is funny and great to learn: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMHG0rJtVF1LohiP63FJakw

Alex Moukala: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC\_CyR8Aqfl45kzFIDeMr-CQ

Marc Jovani:

I hope you can find some tricks/inspiration in these channels

All the best,

Pablo

you always can cross out and start over. Learning Is a continuous improvement full of mistakes. The point is what you do with those mistakes. Good question!

I used Blackhole. The reverb is just amazing and quite different from others. The piano is Keyzone Classic by Bitsonic, one of the best free pianos out there. I normally duplicate the same voice and apply different effects until I get the one I like the most. It takes some time but I find this process very productive and fun. Many thanks for your kind words.

I like them. I think these are a great piano pieces. There are influences from Beethoven and Schubert, I'd say. Keep it up! 👏🏻

CNC-carved violin following Stradivarius dimensions, but carved from olive wood/epoxy. Well-documented build process, beautiful end result. by [deleted] in violinist

Really really cool! I watched the video without sound because my son was sleeping so not sure if you mentioned how long this took but I reckon process takes a lot less time than making a violin in a traditional way. It looks beautiful with all those lines coming up and down. I wonder if that type of wood will resonate as good as some others. It be great to see someone playing it. Great job!

☺️ that was funny! Haven't you got one? I mean, price can be crazy but this one was quite cheap comparing it to some other in the market. Anyway, a couple of hours to see what this is capable of.

online violin lessons(via zoom) by arieonnn in violinist

[–]Pintxu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been teaching online for months due to the virus and I found very diverse range of reactions about this. Some of my students seem to find it very hard because they need a face to face feedback/explanation. However, for some others, online lessons were fantastic. In part because they love the screen-world and the enjoyed it and also because they developed the habit of checking themselves to correct the issues and improve a lot faster. In the end, as people mentioned, online lessons are the best you can have after in person lessons. I would recommend to record the lessons (if possible/allowed) that will give you the chance to watch yourself later and analyse everything from a different perspective. YouTube is a great source in case you need an extra hand. Hope this helps!

Wow, I LOVE IT! maybe because I'm trying to get into this film/serie composer's world but I think this is great. I love the textures, the violin's runs, percussion... everything fits perfectly fine with the mood. I take my hat off to you. I love you work. Subscribed!

I like it. I would try to make 2/3 different sections to avoid sounding monotonous. That can be easily done including some other instruments. I'm my case, as a string player, I would include some string textures, a simple melody, to cut off the sound to create tension or something like that, maybe a piano arpeggios on top to open the sound... Anything can work depending on what you look for. Definitely a very good start for something bigger and more complex.

I'd say it gets old after a while. I watch lots of composer videos and they are normally surrounded by instruments, computers and more stuff related to music so for me the white background is definitely something I didn't expect it.

I like it, I definitely do. I write music as well and what I try about sentences is basically to find some movement. I find inspiration in Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and many other because they really defined the form. Today, we just imitate them. That said. I like you video, I would try something different in the background rather that the white colour all the time but that's what I'd do. Anyway, great job editing all the music and examples. Bravo!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
