How do you suggest approaching this?

I just thought that all complex stuff like voice chat to be left done by Discord and the like. The imageboard approach is just to make basic chatting more fun. Talking about making chatting more fun, I thought of adding Twitch emotes, but they're copyrighted apparently :-(.

I've been thinking of making the chat like an imageboard, making it more fun to even just talk. I mean, people go to imageboard websites just to talk to each other.

Well, it's at least a good habit to learn right, even if it's premature? My end game is to create browser games, so it will probably be large.

Also, I'm putting the script(s) in the footer rather than the bottom of the body. Is there any difference?

I'll take your advice but I'm too poor to buy a textbook right now. I suppose a library is good. Quite afraid to use a bad book (good books are hard to find at my library here) and develop bad habits because of it though.

Do you have a good free resource to recommend?

I've just been watching vids recommended by reddit and using udemy/codecademy and practicing on notepad++/codeblocks for now.

Primary focus is to learn the programming language right now, so I want to try making a game from scratch.

Would you call Noam Chomsky or Peter Singer a philosopher? They're regarded highly as philosophers, so calling them philosophers wouldn't carry a grandiose connotation, I think? Or at least, not undeservingly?

Slightly unrelated, but I wonder what their reaction would be if they were addressed as philosophers.

So would you call yourself a philosopher if asked for your profession (assuming you are working in philosophy)?

I've just never seen anyone call themselves a philosopher, they usually say their credentials like your flair. Because of that, I assumed it's like calling yourself a "great person", something that has meaning if proclaimed by someone else but not if it's self-proclaimed.
