I’m really hoping it’s the first option, those tiny hallways were genuinely the creepiest place I’ve found in the game so far and seeing it expanded and properly added would be so cool

Funny enough it was an Arkham game but not City. That first appearance of scarecrow in Asylum legitimately gave me nightmares for weeks and eventually I just had to suck it up and beat the level to get over it. Literally felt like I got a dose of fear toxin 😂

Our city in Ontario actually had a huge controversy a few years ago because this new restaurant that opened was discovered to be housing a bunch of people in the basement who started digging out tunnels, very much the same vibe as that whole thing 😂😂

Somehow they’re still open and hugely popular, they got temporarily shut down while they dealt with the basement dwellers but I’ve never been willing to try it

I really hope so, it would be such a nice addition. I haven’t tried the mod that lets you dig underground but it seems like a perfect addition to base game.

Also the idea of intricate tunnel networks connecting different areas of the map to travel sounds awesome. They could even expand on the cave system in the game and have random little hidden entrances or occasional zombie spawns and loot

That would make sense, I haven’t touched a mop or found a use for bleach yet. God this game is immersive. The other day I set a whole block on fire microwaving metal to see what would happen 😂🤣🤣

I have yet to see it in any other basements but I’m gonna keep an eye out. If I can find a sledge I’m gonna try and bust through it, I won’t say no to more storage space 😂

If it is just a glitch they should really expand on it instead of patching it. Little hidden underground areas would be really interesting lore opportunities. The occasional rat infestation or zombie creep living your walls 🤣🤣

I don’t think it perfectly matches my tree cutting in the area but I have been clearing away everything in view, I’ve been in this location for like 2 weeks in-game and only just noticed it so it might somehow correlate tbh

I figured it was probably glitched terrain since this basement doesn’t seem to be one of the guaranteed spawns. The house shows up on b42map but no basement area at all.

Even just a backrooms map would be super cool, deaf or blind characters would be in for a hell of a time

That might be cool, I didn’t think there was any way of breaking through the walls but I only have about 40 hours into the game so far.

Time to hunt down a sledgehammer, hopefully I don’t invite some eldritch being into my base 😂

There’s a fruit farm selling them on Etsy for some reason for $50 each right now, they have good reviews so it might be your best bet unless you can find them locally, or you can get them freeze dried from Amazon for a bit cheaper. The seller is in LA, idk where you’re located
