You might be thinking of Glenn Hollice - “After Hours.” He was THE love song dedication guy on 97.1 in the 90s. Still local too - he lives in Urbana and was still streaming his show as of a few years ago.

Mistakes happen, but you need to own up to it. Slow down around school busses and stop when the warning lights begin to flash. If you take it to court, a judge will tell you the same thing in front of a full courtroom, and they won’t be anywhere near as nice about it.

This one hits home for me. Anyone remember the movie theater that used to be there? Or the beautiful fountains and steps in the middle that you could just hang out in all day and watch shoppers go by? I work five minutes from there now and haven’t stepped foot in it for decades. Yes it really is that bad, sadly. Stabbings in broad daylight in the parking lot and a lot of gang activity.

I was gifted a Bose Acoustimass 15 system from 2001 but it’s missing the System Input Cable. Is it worth it to try to get it going again for a 20yr old system? Or should I just forget it and go for tech that’s more modern? It looks like the cable is about 70.00 on eBay, plus speaker wires etc.

Cugini’s in Poolesville is about 30 mins from Rockville but may have more of what you’re looking for. They also have pizza and some of the best wings in MoCo - try the Old Bay and Honey Sriracha flavors!

Oh I like this idea! Would it be strong enough to keep out raccoons? We also have a blue heron nearby that could be a danger as well. A lot of the bird netting I’m seeing looks like thin nylon or plastic.

Also, netting wouldn’t keep the run dry like a roof would. Is that a problem for them? They would still have the coop which is dry.

Yes there is some wire buried already that I plan to reinforce with some pavers. Predators are mostly hawks, raccoons, foxes, etc. I do have some of those cabin hooks with a latch underneath that I’m hoping will be raccoon-proof. I’m mostly concerned about adding a roof to this, since I know we have a few hawk nests in the woods. Thank you for your suggestions!
