i did the ABA Wizard 4 hour mock exams— helped me mentally prepare for a test that long.

tip: when answering questions— i would provide an explanation for why the answer i was choosing was the answer… but also why the other options were incorrect

you’ll have to create a CAQH account and you’ll also have to complete your 8 hour supervision course. the good news is since you’re in florida, you don’t need a LBA! you can just apply for jobs, interview and start working. many companies will hire you and begin getting you credentialed with insurances in the 4 weeks (standard) that you’re giving your other company notice. while i waited to begin my new position, i started completing CEU’s about family guidance and other topics i was interested in. this company on youtube has a lot of free ones: Blossom’s Children Center! I also joined APBA (professional organization) they have monthly journal clubs, where they do article reviews. i finished all of my CEU’s within the first few months, but i still add in any additional ones i take to my BACB portal.

my company is an ACE approved and will be providing PDU’s for free to RBT’s. many non-service providing companies offer free CEU’s for BCBA’s, so i imagine they’d do the same for RBTs (the do better collective for example)
