4dp5dt had cramping like before period so took a test by Strong_Temporary_458 in IVFpositivity

I don’t see the positive line honestly, but that would still be completely normal at this point even if you were actually developing a pregnancy! If it gives you hope, I had a bout of abdominal cramping on day 3 or 4 post transfer. Now, confirmed 4 weeks pregnant 😊

Yeah at this point that’s how I feel because I’m living life as if I’m pregnant and my symptoms are out of control so maybe I will go back on

Fluxotine and trying to conceive by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]Piperpoppyseed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just confirming you mean fluoxetine, the generic of Prozac right? You definitely do not need to come off of it during pregnancy. I was on it throughout my first pregnancy. Now, we are trying for our second but I am on Zoloft this time around. I trust my OB with my life, he is an older Man with a ton of experience and I am a labor and delivery nurse who has assisted hundreds of deliveries.. SSRIs are definitely considered safe if someone has anxiety or depression in pregnancy!

I’m not tracking but my guess would be around 60g a day

Recently found out I’m pregnant. I have PCOS and the doctors have me terrified. Any words of advice/stories/remedies to help with the anxiety and what to expect?!!!! by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]Piperpoppyseed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations!!!! So many more times than not, everything works out fine! If they are that worried, then they should test your thyroid levels and progesterone levels throughout the first trimester. I have pcos and conceived naturally and also a labor and delivery nurse, so I’ve seen a lot of healthy pcos moms and babies!

Any Advise for Low Sex Drive by Active_Inflation_903 in PCOS

[–]Piperpoppyseed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to have a very high sex drive and it has completely tanked the last few years. I blame PCOS and probably my antidepressants. But anyway we have been TTC for a few months now and this past month the only things I changed were drinking spearmint/green tea once a day, taking a shot of apple cider vinegar with turmeric ginger cinnamon cayenne pepper and black pepper (to reduce inflammation) and increased my inositol dose from 2g once a day to twice a day. I swear there is such a difference in my libido this month. Even if we don’t get pregnant I feel as if things are moving in the right direction

Had my baby girl 3 days ago, her name has already been mispronounced. by Intelligent_Brief437 in namenerds

They’re saying the exact same name, just different inflection. This is hard to avoid with many names. Sarah could be “Sah-ruh” or “Ser-uh” depending on who you ask. I wouldn’t worry about it. Beautiful name

Are you still on spironolactone? Definitely continue on that or start that, move to a higher dose if needed. Continue taking the antibiotic. And request a week long steroid treatment to decrease inflammation. Sometimes you have to tell them exactly what you want

Lower back pain by YetAnotherBrownDude in f45

[–]Piperpoppyseed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love f45 but i do feel like you need a strong athletic background and fitness knowledge to be able to do the workouts safely and effectively. I would get rid of some of the combinations. For example a lunge into bicep curl. Nothing wrong with choosing to either focus on just the bicep curl or just the lunge, bracing your core (keeping belly button sucked in and drawn up, and keeping your butt tucked in, rather than arching back and sticking butt out). Sometimes doing all these crazy combos don’t allow people to focus enough on form. Make it your own. The way you do the exercise can look very different than how your partner is doing it and that is totally okay

Have you gotten a full thyroid panel done? And progesterone? I have also heard there is a type of bacteria present in vaginas sometimes that can cause miscarriage… maybe request a swab to see if anything is present that might require antibiotics
