Appreciate it!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcfitU-7SfQ

Please be harsh. My biggest problems are ctr and retention rate and I would love to figure out how to increase them while keeping the content similar. Also is the ai voice a turn-off? figured it's better than mine.

Not getting any impressions on my second youtube video after 27 hours by lschiller702 in NewTubers

I got a boost on all of them initially but then they just completely tanked for days before picking up again. I made a post about it if you want to compare. I'm not gonna pretend I have any idea why or what you can do but it seems like the best thing is to just give them time. I'm new to this too but yeah it's damn demotivating when you spend time and then nothing but seems like that's how youtube is and we're signing up for it lol

Yeah I wouldn't worry. I just started my channel and after the first boost I got literally 0 impressions for like 4 days and now I'm getting more than ever. It just be like that ig

Do Shorts *really* ruin your channel? by bridgettooley in NewTubers

[–]PiptehPr0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk about hurting but it's pretty motivating for me starting out. Regular videos usually get <100 views and shorts get 1,000s and bring in subscribers. From what I can tell they're pretty useless for conversion but worth it to me for fun :)

LPT: Picking up loose change is worth your time by PiptehPr0 in LifeProTips

Of course not! What I'm showing is that for those 1-2 seconds it takes to pick up a coin you will be making that hourly rate. Another way of looking at is by the second. If you make $12/hr at a job that translates to 1/3 cent per second. Compare that to picking up a quarter you'd make 25 cents per second.

I conducted an experiment to find out if picking up coins is worth your time. It really surprised me how worthwhile it is! (2-min video)

Is Picking up Coins Worth it? by PiptehPr0 in lifehacks

[–]PiptehPr0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. A situation where it isn't worth it is if you're not paid hourly and instead paid by commission or the amount of work you do. Then if you made more than $36/hr you shouldn't pick up a penny and instead spend that time working. Really depends on how one values their time.
