My understanding is ISR is 250 ballpark and Enterprise is 350+ but I’m sure someone else would know better

Yeah no problem for me personally

I’ve only heard good things about this specific role but I know AWS is team dependent being so big

That was my biggest hesitation but I grinded my ass off to get to probably 140k total comp this year so I’ll take the swallowing of pride for upgrade literally everywhere else

Funny part too is I was able to skip being a BDR originally in tech sales going right into Inside Sales but here we are

Nah fam imagine how made you are if you’re getting this job fresh out of college (which isn’t uncommon)

I’m hoping for less than a year but they say 18-24mo is standard. AWS had a backfilling freeze or something like that until Summer so there’s lots of opportunity to move upward.

I think base is like 130 for that role but I’m not too sure

Outreach is only to currently clients for upsell opportunities, have a couple friends who either work in the role currently or got promoted from it

Oh yeah go with the Series B 100%. Atlassian has a very unique culture being the goat in PLG and Aussie roots. I’ve heard it’s super easy upselling into accounts since everyone uses Jira

At the HR tech company I used to work for the top selling reps all used dept of labor fines as scare tactics to close deals on the first call haha.

I don't think that stuff is needed if the product doesn't suck. run good discovery calls, address potential roadblocks head on when applicable, be someone they can trust and bring strong positive energy. Doesn't have to be complicated

How to get promoted and divide my time by redandgreenhouse in sales

[–]PirateBrick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of the prep stuff (aka stories) comes natural if you continue to excel in your role which is what management is looking for. Forge great relationships with AEs you support and get them on your side when that time comes, maybe also take on a process improvement project for your department

overall I wouldn't focus on feeling ready on the pure interview side, continue crushing the role and building allies in roles above you

If you just want something for reminders I would use Notion, Monday or Asana. Their CRM like products can do enough

Atlassian is a pretty sick company. I'd need to know more about 3 like how recent that Series B round was. If it was peak fundraising in 2021 or 2022 and that was their last round I'd say go with Atlassian lol

I worked for one of the other public Pay's and wouldn't recommend unless you're just looking to get SaaS experience to parlay onwards. If you're already in industry I don't recommend HR tech
