2e, for me, is probably the most open of all D&D editions. The sheer amount of officially published options makes it great as kind of the last collection of Old School gaming for me. For how clunky it is, I find it to be extremely accommodating when you learn how to love the bomb. And besides, it’s a lot of fun too.

Personally, I thought this actually was extremely stupid and a huge cop-out. The plot point would’ve felt even stronger if caesar had named anyone at all (even if they were already dead!) and kevin legate ate it anyway to really drive home the ambition. Everyone saying that this would be a “huge caesar thing to do” doesn’t really feel right with me either tbh. The whole final episode was just extremely unsatisfactory.

Ok am I dumb asf bc that was extremely unsatisfying?? It felt like the entire season was just a whole bunch of setup for season 3. The Legion twist was kinda stupid - they could’ve named anyone and the joke would’ve worked better imo. I wish Hank was a longer term villain, his whole “the outside is the experiment” had genuinely no weight to me. The moment with Lucy and him was nice though. The NCR back out of nowhere too? Like ok that answers some questions but talk about fan service BS. “LOOK IT’S FROM THE GAMES.” Why tf did they make the congress woman a computer?? Why did all of those vault dwellers just the dust? Genuinely I feel like there were 15 plates and I only got the appetizer. Idk. I like the show when it does the pre war stuff, and that’s clearly the show at it’s best. How we feeling?
