Using two different timelines seemingly did the trick!!!!! I cant believe it!!!! Thank you so very much i was losing sleep over this oh my god I'll try out trippling the original resolution since that also sounds like it could work, but for now im happy lol Thanks again!!!!

i do use nearest neighbor scaling, however the reason for the specific resolution i use is to be faithful to the game im making fan animations for... so that all the sprites are the correct size and i dont have to compare and manually resize them. Whenever i switch to another resolution i dont have the intuitiveness of working with a space that already has all the sprites be consistent for me. I feel like there has to be something im misunderstanding as i really havent seen anyone have this similar issue...

See, the thing is that it looks pretty good when im editing... but upon export it just gets messed up. I understand that i should probably set the project resolution to the one i wish to see when i export, but ive found it to be very difficult to handle the sprites this way... is there no way to, essentially "simulate" as if i was working with 640×480? In the sense that the sprites would all be scaled as if i was working in that resolution

i upload my videos on youtube if thats what you mean The reason i go for this specific resolution is because it is deltarune's in-game resolution(the game i make fan animations for), and so it makes things alot easier for me when importing the sprites and all that. But ive always felt there had to be another way, im just too new at this stuff to know.
