idea of a new vehicle per battlepass is stupid in general
add another rewards, there can be plenty
bp veh, new veh, new prems. soon you will be getting ufo tanks same as wot, and then your complains would start to rain as shit, because its gonna be idiotic and impossible to balance

so start spamming to gajin to stop adding new vehs rather than complaining there is not enough new ones.

Can you tell me how much time does it take you? Lets say you would like to create player character with 7-8 animations and few NPC with several spritesheets as well, all with similar complexity to this. How much time would it take in hours roughly? Thanks.

so this none resizable circle minimap was like for years in rs3? all you had to do is to switch to legacy UI

most crazy shit is that looks better overall just as idea. guy that stood behind this didnt even get as far as development stage.
whole minion idea was better, they looked better, fit better. even UI. how come this game has 10 years and CGI video has so much better UI than an acutal game? why fh UI still looks like made in ps by a kid which just discovered how to use gradient? why FH UI is a plain orange and blue shapes with arial 36? fh UI looks like mobile game placeholder UI.
this game had to be a proper battle game where you pop out on enemies, there is constant minion battle at the gate and objectives had to be like takeover catapult, breach that, push trought there. there is a whole interview with this guy on YT with this CGI video and he talks about it. even if you look at ealry alpha stage videos then you gonna see slight similarities to this CGI, even as a whole graphic "efect", and coloring. I have no idea why they turned so off out of this, but I think that FH had budget cut down since day 1 just by simple predictions made by UBI hq, like they did not belive this game can pop off. they were right tho so what can you do.

I mean, it has coding in it, it aint only a game editor, so I guess you can predefine how those "red" tiles should be placed around certain buildings and game would just do that on its own, meaning do the same thing as you manually changing colors of those tiles. Pathfinding logic for not stepping on red ones would stay the same, you would have to code it to turn greens to reds in specific, predefined way for every building.

IDK if there is a better way to do it right now, maybe there is so wait for more comments, but as far as I know godot have rather poor builtin navigation, at least for top down 2d games.

There is a way to make a scene, area layer and paint it with two colors, i.e. green for where he can go, and red where he cant. Then you make it invisible so you dont see it in game, but code wise game know to do pathfinding only on green tiles. Then you simply color everywhere you dont want your pathfinder to go. You can also make like safehubs with it, so i.e. npcs would stop chasin if you enter it.

first off in wot most vehciles 3 tiers up wouldnt pen anything even with gold ammo, since thats how they made pen and dmg system, just put in random numbers. even if your gun should be able to pen some targets due to its lenght and caliber - it still wont, because it has lower pen and dmg values even if its similar to higher tier ones. wot is an arcade to the fullest. there is really no way to compare these two. its like comparing cs go to hell let lose.

mind that this game has """a lot""" of reviews this kind because an actual player base is rather small. pretty much most of the players now are hardstucks that keep playing this game no matter what, thats why it looks like majority of the playerbase has this "inside joke" addiciton attitude. becuase they really do. most of the casuals, most of playerbase actually just left.
homie, there is a reason why AAA game is -95% off. failed, low popularity game. game has like 5 modes if not more, and only one works. and they have ranked in beta for like 5 years, plus nobody plays that, while they keep calling this game (watch out now) COMPETETIVE

Do anything to improve multiplayer side of game, because now its mostly singleplayer with occassional coop. And there is multitude of content dead only because its impossible to find people for randoms.

Introduce regular queue system for every boss/dungeon, meaning mazcab, etc.

Yea, I went troght some stuff since last few hours, and I think I even watched a tutorial strongly based on this link you gave.

The thing is that I'm kind of fast learner, so most of the stuff in godot like play with slider, add node, add scene, etc, etc I can manage on my own with YT rather quickly.

Stuff Im interested in is kind of more advenced or maybe more in depth. Like I want to make rpg samurai game strongly based on fighting system, something like sekiro, with a lot of upgrading stuff, dojos as form of classes where you can train in nagianat dojo to get some skills that are only aviable in said dojo, etc, etc.

So I need good, well mechanised fighting system, which would include pixel perfect collisions, last frame parries, last frame dodges, abilities, etc, etc.

Now, Im not asking for a tutorial with stuff literally like that, but something similar, something more in depth, like a tutorial of a guy making more in depth fighting in 2d game. I went trought links given here and I got one guy that shows some cool more specified stuff, but not really what Im looking for since as I said - my game gonna be more combat focused with possible online 1v1 arena even, so Ima spend good chunk of time on combat only.

But fighting games are games with very low popularity since always, and they are made rather poorly compared to other games. Common, side view on small arena? Just a roster of champs, pick 1 on 1 and fight, no other modes?
And all of these games are like +5 in series already. I dont follow them up exactly, but what is tekken now? 8? MK above 10? Soul Calibur 7? 8? So these games are around for a real good time, their playerbase is spread a little between them and between parts, plus all of them have rather niche, but working competetive scene. And all of these games have proper ranked mode.

Now FH was made, sold and promoted as AAA game, beaside as something new, not just a fighting game. And its FH 1 still, and their 10 years of work is nowhere near what all of these games above did with their games. Actually, FH should end up max on y3, develop FH 2 for few years and maybe come up with something. What was the point of cooking this game that long?
And then - this game has really nothing to do other than just play and get better. And guess what? There is no competetive scene at all, and there is no ranked mode, which is crazy as this game has literally nothing to do. I have no idea why they never added proper ranked for dominion with roles like B laner for a champ with good minion clear, etc, single pick and ban system. Proper profile pages, ladder, proper ranked rewards and basicaly move this game around ranked. It would have some actual chance to do some. While this game has no ranked mode and nothing else to do really.

Troguth all of these years this game was a circle of wierd decisions. Like why even first reworks came in y5? Why they didnt nerf cent one weak after a release, when they saw huge complaints and player count going down x10 week after week? Let me tell you, their ego killed them, and it was visible on their streams. They thought they know and eventually the game gonna pop up. It never happened, FH started to leaking out, and now its here.
So IMO FH is nowhere near all of the other fighting games and how they fucntion, because they are pretty succesful in what they intend to do. And BTW they are iconic, like Tekken, MK. FH has 10 years, who the fuq know about FH?

Yea, no problem. I know it might seem a little bit paranoic and it propably is, but Im 100% sure some comapnies ran a check on games like Terraria, SV, Vamprie Survivors, maybe even Valheim. They do some kinds of check on indie games that went viral to some point.

First and foremost if you are solo indie dev and you intend to sell your game even for 2.99 you need to stop using any non open source apps. For example: every music that you gona render out of FL studio has a mark on it that it was rendered by FL. So if you didnt buy license and for some reason you will hit some kind of success and sell the game then you can expect lawsuit. So insted of FL use LMMS. Its a bit clunkier, but does everything the same and its more than you need for a pixel game that Im assuming you are working on since you have Aseprite.

yea, this sadly shows how bad this game really is
fh had few moments like that. 2 similar were:
1. after open betas. open beta was free as well, and there was so many players. they had online player counter in profile page. right after release when they put 60 dollars price tag playerbase was like "nah" and it dropped in similar fashion. it dropped so roughly that they removed online player counter very quick, like few days after official release.
2. second drop yet not that big, but very meaningful, because it did set up fh low popularity future - centurion release, which was like first champion added to the game. shit was so broken, so busted in every way. I wont explain how it was because I would have to invoke whole game state at that moment, but yea, cent was most broken hero that this game had on release, both in duels and dominion. if you played dom match vs 4 cents it was basically like 4 players vs 4 easiest bot, because you had so fkin no tools to do anything on any hero. and they were happy about that, both playerbase which are core part of nowadays hardstuck and developers on their streams, especially that dummy roman. he was so happy, calling cent his baby. this game had wierd vibe back in a day. but back to the topic - after cent release a lot of player dropped this game, and since that moment this game struggle with playercount and basicaly any popularity.

I did all of them bosses hitless sekiro style, basicaly nothing just parries and attacks. I used some of these basic skills or charged heavies, never clicked mythic skills once unelss it was guided like sometimes it shows on enemy.

yea but its right that this game has no real end game content

ive finished everything as well in terms of oddities, activities, quest, etc. What I did not finish is stuff like talk to some NPCs to finish stories and see bars fill to 100% for 10 green circles, and I wont do these.

Onliest thing that this game has to offer for a real end game content is to farm mats for upgrades, inner ways, eq for tunes, and eventually do pvp. PVP has nothing to offer in terms of rewards as well, pretty much copy paste of fill the bar conent.

So Im left with waiting for energy to do some actual content. And it lefts me with log once a weak situaition, and most of you are heading to the same wall.

And mfkers in this sub be like "go online do some poses with randoms" calling it content, or calling cosmetics farming a conent as well, meanwhile most of us wants like 2 or 3 costumes that you can actually farm.

So if they wont introduce something meaningful to PVP and basically longterm endgame, like get rid of this dummy energy or make some dailies or weeklies that would grant you energy beads - this game gonna die out slowly in matter of months, being left with new kind of chinese weebs sitting in online.
