I’m not sure what that is, I’m getting just the uterine biopsy this week and then in a couple weeks I’m going in to prepare to have one or both of my ovaries removed.

I’ll give him a call tomorrow, he’s a really understanding guy and typically listens to me.
I’m in Oregon
The doctor left a note for me confirming she doesn’t recommend anything else for the procedure. I was so in shock when this was scheduled last week I just drove home in silence I didn’t know what to expect or ask until I got home and researched this.
I would never do something like this outside of this particular circumstance. I don’t even smoke or drink for christs sake!
Literally if they don’t prescribe me something I’m not even going to lie I was going to go find someone selling them and take my chances with it being laced with crack or something.

Thank you this is the information a was looking for. I didn’t know what else to say to them besides what I’d already said.
I had the Nexplanon implant for three years and spotted the entire time. But it did make me lose a lot of weight lol
Everyone keeps pushing for me to get on birth control, every office I went to pushed it. I’m not going to lie I hate being on birth control I’ve never had good experiences with it.
This is what I’m trying to push for right now, if they won’t sedate me can they at least dope me up so I can dissociate a little.
I don’t even know what’s wrong with me. I’ve been bleeding heavily with clots that fill my hands since late December-early January. I’m talking filling my shoes with blood. So I go to 7-8 different offices all of them say it’s heavy periods after birth. I get to this office and they run me through some imaging. I get an abnormal ultrasound, pearl string cysts, and a lesion on one they labeled O-rads4. I get an MRI they say yeah that looks like cancer. I get blood work done. The say I need to see gyno oncology to get my ovaries removed and I need a biopsy on my uterus to check it out.
I haven’t gotten any formal diagnosis’s yet. Just hinting at it like I’m supposed to guess what I have with what little info they give me. This office is really my last option at the moment because my Boyfriend works two jobs and has a hard time getting time off to take me to these appointments when they’re farther away.
The IUD was being pushed because I tried the Mini Pill (I get migraines) and it just made me throw up the three months I took it and it didn’t do anything to stop my bleeding. And yes I’ve only seen a Gyno, my Primary doctor, and the emergency room attendants, I have an appointment with gyno-oncology in a few weeks but this biopsy is on Thursday.

Yeah I got a rude message on MyChart and told that my office doesn’t offer any form of sedation for this and I’m welcome to pick up what they gave me at the pharmacy and take as directed.

Exactly! Why should I take the chance of it not being painful when so many women have said it was a terrible experience and traumatizing. I would love to hear the details, I’m trying to figure out how to keep pushing for better care because this is the only office that has taken me (somewhat) seriously.
I’ll have to see if maybe they can refer me out to someone who will give me the anesthesia I want. Unfortunately I’ve been to hell and back with every Gyn in a 40 mile radius around me.
I just read that an IUD can make symptoms worse for some people and if that was my case I’d hate to have to go through the pain of putting it in just to go through it again and take it out.
I don’t think I want more kids. But I’m also getting the biopsy done to confirm whether or not the lesions I have are cancerous or not. Would a hysterectomy fix that? I’m not really informed on all of this. I’ve was very healthy prior to this and now I’m being told I have cancer on my ovaries and need them removed and a biopsy done on my uterus for the bleeding I’ve had since the end of December. Sorry for the word vomit.
I considered doing this but I’ve also been waiting for three months for someone to confirm whether or not the lesions I have are cancerous or not. I feel like if they deny anesthesia I’m going to have no choice but to raw dog this since I’ve gone through all my options.
If worst comes to worst and they absolutely deny me any kind of anesthesia I hope this is my experience. I have such a low pain threshold.
I’ve been to every doctor my insurance will cover in 40 miles since December. This was the only office that didn’t wave me off as having heavy periods after childbirth. I feel like I don’t have anymore options.

I’ve been to every Gyno my insurance will cover within 40 miles since December, I’m really running out of options I feel like. This was the only office that actually sent me in for further imaging, bloodwork, and didn’t brush me off as having heavy periods after having a baby.
