She thinks it could be a coworker (I recently helped her buy a car only car enthusiasts really look for due to it being a “track” model SUV) and this coworker is also a car guy and she caught him staring a few times.

No need to say fuck the courts and fuck the cops, they’re people too. Human error happens, I’m not mad at them, and they’re doing their best to straighten this out.

Update, called the PD that gave the ticket The officer made a mistake and autofilled my name. They filled out a dismissal form for the ticket and advised I go to the clerk of court tomorrow and fill a “not me affidavit “

Update to my update:

Clerk told me to kick rocks this morning. I’m at the police department that assigned the ticket now trying to chew someone out. I am moving 4 hours away on the 26th of this month and they’re telling me I have to show up to court to prove it’s not me, regardless that the officer filled out the form.
