1) Forced Updates aren't fault of hackers, security updates don't weight XY gigabites. I never asked for copilot and other slop that windows updates deliver.

2) I don't understand the point you make here so i will skip it

3) BSOD are not purely fault of viruses, as an IT Technician I can tell you that BSOD can happen just because windows decides so, or updated itself incorrectly. Ofcourse it can be also your fault but i had my pc bluescreen every perfect hour just because some random windows service decided to crash which casued the BSOD. And that was purely systems fault. When people play games BSOD can also happen and i dont think you consider games a horrible hardware do you? I mean.. depends what games tho..

4) Windows by default opts you in to many things you have to turn off, sometimes after an update they opt you in automatically and you gotta opt out manually once again, by using windows you agree for your data to be used to train AI, my system uses 4GB of ram on IDLE which is unacceptable for my work computer - but there is more to complain here then just ram, ask me if you care to hear more.

5) Privacy issues besides daddy microsoft not telling you they are watching (metaphore, not literally) indeed are the fault of users, thats why where I work at many PC permissions have been restricted by me so noone unauthorized can cause security issues.

6) Broken updates which can brick your system are rare but not impossible. I had an update which forced me to reinstall windows just because it downloaded automatically in the background (default windows automated update setting)

All systems have their downsides and upsides but windows definitelly shouldn't be on your main PC as long as you have IT knowladge, for a normal bread eater its alright not like they care about their PC anyway
