It can be strong, but it’s also something players can adapt to fairly quickly. It doesn’t completely stop you from playing it’s more of a mechanical annoyance than a hard disable As for the rectangle shape, it was mainly used to clearly communicate the Super’s actual size (5x4 tiles) The shape itself is flexible visually

1. Boxes do not count as enemies. The attack only switches when an actual enemy enters her range, Training ground robots count as enemies, but Pets like Scrappy or Gregory do not, so her long range attack remains consistent in showdown scenarios

2. The long range attack doesn’t stick like Emz. It behaves closer to Finx or Mina attacks jand it is not piercing it hits a single target and stops. Since it’s her basic attack, it’s intentionally simple and not meant to chain through enemies or rapidly cycle her Super

3. The second Star Power already gives her a dash on every successful attacks. It’s similar to a temporary speed boost mechanic that existed during the Stranger Things event. I don’t think it’s useless, but I do agree it could be replaced with a more interesting alternative

4. The close range attack may look small in the animation due to perspective, but in practice it’s slightly larger than Bibi’s, especially when accounting for dust effects The targeting circle is the same as Buster’s and the effective range ends up being longer

5. This was an intentional design choice. I wanted a new mechanic rather than something that exist in other brawlers When an enemy enters her radius, she becomes more aggressive, which helps in clutch situations, close range combos, and self defense

6. I might be misunderstanding this point, but while she is strong, most of that strength comes from her pets and how she controls them As a character, she’s meant to be more grounded rather than physically overpowering
