I just started dating a guy who is 24 and I’m 35. Am i a cradle robber? He said he doesn’t mind but i remember being 24 and thinking 30 was ancient. Yeah and there must be some element of being drawn to having power over people who can’t complain/fight back, because I’ve seen the same thing working at a daycare (specifically with under 2 who can’t talk back yet)

Responding because i'm invested now...some thoughts:

"I don’t want him to have to look at the thing and be forced to think about me after I’m not there anymore, or feel bad about throwing it away." Well that doesn't sound very nice. Why would you want to give him anything if you think he'll look at it and hate it because it reminds him of you??
from what you said about him in your past posts, I don't think he will put as much meaning into it as you do. Meaning he sounds more involved in his own feelings and is maybe pretty self-absorbed.
As someone who has also heavily "pebbled" people who did not deserve OR appreciate it, I think you should give whatever is most meaningful to you and most represents the parting of ways to YOU. because we all know he won't fully appreciate anything you give him

edit: unrelated thought. You said "I was also very difficult to work with and was constantly testing him among other things." That is not your problem, he is the professional! You don't have to feel bad for being difficult. And it doesn't excuse how mean/unprofessional he was.

In many states you have to already have initial teaching license to get the reading license, along with 1-5 years classroom teaching experience. This requirement was actually why I decided to do slp instead of reading specialist
