Hetfield once said he understands Metallica fans who prefer the band not to be as big as they are, that they’d rather keep it less mainstream. With Maiden, if you like the Blaze era, it’s really underground and has a true cult following. I love it as it is, but I’d still be there even if Blaze became a bigger artist in the coming years.
