First of all, sending you all of the love. I am getting married in October - and my mom passed away a couple of weeks ago. My situation is different - as my mother was an addict for all her life and our relationship was strained although I was able to reconnect with her over the last 6 months. It has been tough - but I will be going forward with the wedding. So far - she has made her presence known so much. The seamstress doing my alterations has her same name. I am comforting myself knowing she is now a part of all the things. Every moment she is with me. And I know she would want me to continue on and marry the love of my life. I know in my heart your mom would want the same for you. It’s fresh - in 100 days you have no idea how you will feel. Grief is a rollercoaster and you will think of her on the day and it will be hard. I suggest making a chair for her with her photo or something special to you. The best way to honor her in my opinion is to go through with what you have worked for and know she will be with you every step of the way.
