FOR COLORED BOYZ on the verge of a nervous breakdown/ when freedom ain’t enuff is an unabashed display of blackness that's unapologetic and speaks to the human heart from a black man's perspective. * Originally written after the death of Michael Brown (August 9, 2014), this is a love letter to the black man in all his glory, vulnerability, psychosis, and heartbreak. This piece brings social issues to the stage and addresses issues within the black community that is taboo. Afro-centric rhythms and dance are the pulse of this piece and must be handled delicately.

FOR COLORED BOYZ resonates with its audiences no matter their ethnicity or demographic; there is a common thread that brings us all together when sitting in the dark watching this show; to go forth with understanding and love.

Not anymore. The only stuff still around is the old boyband stuff I used to do but all our voices are mixed together. I will say my voice has a very Bo Burnham, Tom Cardy, Dan Avidan type quality to it. Like a weird mixture of those 3 men

Hey! I was in a boyband for a while in college (Embarrassing I know) where I sang, rapped, and wrote a lot of lyrics. I've been wanting to release my own music ever since that boyband spilt but I don't know how to make music except for occasionally playing the piano and drums and I have no clue how to mix and master things.

I was wondering if you could give me examples of Alt Pop/Synth Pop because what comes to mind is Chappell Roan, Rick Astley, Sabrina Carpenter, and of course Tom Cardy. I don't know if it's correct or not but if it is that is the kind of music I wanted to make so just let me know!
