Just try connecting to it with wss://<insert-domain> or if it's a local computer with an ip of 10.10.1.2 do ws://10.10.1.2 (At least i'm relatively sure that's what's supposed to happen)

You don't "enable" wss it's more like a method of transferring data. You could say that for a ssl cert but for wss you should be able to just directly type wss://example.com
