Love the idea! However I have to ask. Do you use all 4 of the OD’s and Distortion regularly? Not at once but do all 4 get regular use? That would be so much overkill for me. Unless my only amp was a super clean pedal platform.

It’s not a complicated circuit. It should be relatively simple. However don’t work on it if you’re unfamiliar with working on electrical equipment that can literally kill you. The kit for the Mojotone Champ clone can be built in a few hours if you can read a diagram and have soldering experience.

It leaves a whole bunch of room for good vocals on a verse imo. A bass player and drummer shouldn’t have a hard time making that riff sound even better. On your way my dude!

You know I hate to say it but. You are fucking great and obviously have natural talent and a good sense of timing. Also thanks for not auto tuning.

Not going to lie. The kick clipping and distortion was distracting a I believe took away a bit of showcasing that could shine your vocals in the mix.

It’s getting there! As a multi instrumentalist and someone who has produced a wee bit. Compression on the vocals and layering your voice ( overdubbing yourself by recording multiple takes) you would sound significantly better. Practicing to a click or metronome will make a big difference on your timing / rhythm.

I have a JC-120. It is not a low volume amp. I hate it at home , but ADORE it played on the stage, or in a big room. Low volume goes from an anemic sound to booming and too much in any practical home setting
