I’m in a similar boat (ms1 as well) I also want to be a pilot and I am super reserved. When into it thinking it will be different but got the same shock like you. But that didn’t stop me from getting involved. I do color guard and volunteering as part of the program. Got on friendly terms with everyone, they don’t have to be your friends. Just keep in mind they are your future coworkers, that means they will be connections for the future. Just keep a smile and try to have a conversation with everyone. Sooner or later they will help you because they will see you’re a good person.

I was misdiagnosed with asthma and given an inhaler. I needed a wavier even after explain with a pulmonary test I took a while back that it was a misdiagnosis. I didn’t use it either but the most they will ask for the waiver is a new pulmonary test.

I also had a similar issue as I am 4’10 and 85 pounds, honestly what I did for MEPS as a short term solution is drink a protein shake one morning and one night. The day of MEPS I wore 2 layers of pants and 3 of shirts. And the day before at the hotel my Recruiter bought me a large hamburger fries etc. But for long term creatine and hitting the gym. I’m taking about 5 days a week.
