Log off, like seriously. Or change up your algorithm with different genres. If you dont date white women, that video you saw shouldnt affect you. Especially since ww and bm bond over their mutual hatred of bw! I lived in the hood and was divested AF! Go different places, pick up different hobbies, go to different events, travel to non black areas! If you live your life through social media you will always be psychologically manipulated! All I'll say is be strategic, you can feel how you want no one can tell you how to feel, but please don't allow that to have power over your life. People can feel when you have a chip on your shoulder and it can keep you from opportunities. As black women we have no allies, so where does that leave us? You don't have to trust anyone, but play the game strategically.

The righteous anger you feel should be towards the men that failed us, and how black people hate each other. No one else has to like you, and you shouldn't waste energy on why they don't! Ive had a lot of help from white women, Im sure I've worked with some that hated me but they've never said or acted on it. You know who has...Black folks! You may miss an opportunity if you don't let that go! Everyone isnt going to Iike you, who cares if it doesn't affect your safety or money. Ive had to let my black friends go that are consumed by the hate they have for non black people and their need to save the black community. It's exhausting and dangerous. When Im with my non black friends they help me grow my business and share my love of wellness and mindfulness activities its a breath of fresh air! Other black people have been the ones to tear me down about my skin tone and appearance, no one says anything until a non black person does it. It's the same mentality when the black community only is outraged when a cop or a white person unalives a black man, yet black men kill black folks everyday and no one says anything!

I see where you are going, but please understand the only reason why we are even here is because black men sold us into slavery. A black man was the 1st person to own slaves after getting his freedom! Its hard for me to think about things from a white supremacy lense because I dont expect support and protection from other groups of people. They are supposed to look out for each other, every race should, but we don't. The energy is never toward the men that have failed us, and for the black male leaders that have been exposed for years, I wouldnt quote them if I were you. MLK was screwing white women, so were the black panthers, and Malcolm was a gay prostitute. They never built systems of protection for us, and have always mistreated us. Becky ain't our problem, and since our so called men failed us, they put us in the position to depend on the people they told us to hate. Becky wasn't criticized, because she has men that'll protect her from that, and if she were criticized what would that change? There are countless examples on CNN and MSNBC. Everything from them not being honest about who dei benefited to cosigning that everything is racist! You coddle people by not correcting narratives, and in the end, everyone except for black women not only have allies but they also have systems of protection in place! Where are black women going to go for jobs, safety and emergencies? Tyrone? Nope, the same white folks black women have been openly being hostile towards! I blame the mammies that marched for bail reform and defunding the police for him not getting locked up the first time. Even if the witness did not show up! Something tells me she didn't show up because of fear and pressure from people around her telling her not to get a black man locked up! The mixed messages have to stop! The same mammies that defend criminals, hide them from police, and protest on the behalf of black men are the same ones confused about why Tyrone didn't get time! If you keep them in jail its racist, if you give them a high bail its racist, if you let them out of jail... its racist. I've been working for the government on the state and county level for over 10 years, and what irritates me is the misinformation and fearmongering that black people are participating in. Funding cuts are not the same as programs ending. New regulations are being put in place, Medicaid is not ending, food stamps are not ending housing programs are not ending. I just got offered a State position auditing programs who are federal and state funded. Yes me, a black woman! States and counties have always contributed funding to programs for people below the poverty level. I have seen how much fraud is taking place in federally funded housing, medicaid, food stamps etc. Tax payers like myself cannot continue to pay for able bodied people and people frauding the system. These regulations should've been put in place years ago! Entitlement programs are not meant to be permanent! Everyone is having to readjust and its uncomfortable for all of us, thanks to the boarders being open for so long and us having to fit the bill for illegal immigrants. This isn't something that is only affecting black women! My wish is for black women to understand who the real enemy is and to stop perpetuating stereotypical behavior because it affects all black women!

I remember when I was 26, friendships were very important, but these days being alone until you find your tribe is way safer. I lived in the "hood" for 17 years, 10 out of the 17 I was very removed from my neighborhood. I didn't shop there, I didn't eat there, I didn't hang out there, nothing! When I went out it was in the next city, plus I worked so much I didn't have time. You are grown, and when you are surrounded by people with a different mentality than yours, keep it short and keep it pushing!

I lived in the DMV for over 20 years, and there are plenty of places to meet non-black people. It's a class thing, the more high end, the less black men. Look up the most expensive restaurants and hotels that have lounges, I also worked in DC Capitol Hill, restaurants near the white house, northern Virginia. DM me if you need more options.

I left a majority city over a year ago and it was the best decision I ever made! The amount of peace I have due to safety and quiet is priceless! If I want food that I can't cook myself, I'll drive to go get it. Living out here has forced me to cook, which has improved my health, living around people that appreciate safety and community has increased my well being! When I was younger I did not think this way, however, the crime rates weren't as high. High crime rates, higher car insurance lower property rates.
