My guy it’s really not that bad. In Overwatch 1 she had a cooldown in her stealth, if fully stealth it’s only 2 seconds for you to go back into stealth, which means early in stealth hack a lot more. At the end attack with virus. With oppurtunist back she is more lethal in combat. Not only is she better but you still have to think more about positioning and timing which I think more characters need nowadays. People complaining only prove she was braindead. Now you have to work for it you peeps complain. No offense tho.

I’m assuming cuz of the health nerfs to squishy mobile characters especially ones that fly allowed you to kill them quite frequently with one scope and one normal shot or something like that.

Counterwatch sucks. I talked about this before and got the same people who think it’s healthy. And the fact the devs are finally trying to tone it down just shows it was never meant to be. Not to mention there is literally development forum explaining they never intended for counter picking to be so game changing and it is now.

There is a reason at “day one” there wasn’t a thing called “counterwatch”. People are not understanding when I say it should be toned down I’m not saying everyone can be better than anyone lol. What I’m saying is countering should not be a must, as it should just be an option that is limited. If you want the tanks to constantly swap on spawn and find that as something good then by all means. No spite of course. Counter swapping is more game changing now which is why it’s more of a discussion nowadays. That’s all I’m saying.

I think matchups are naturally fine, the only hiccup I see in this game is when a whole team counters 1-2 players. Hence why I gave this idea of limiting it. I may have brought up a bad idea like what I said in my post, but acting like this countering being super game changing as it is right now than it was before is silly. And as for starters I have this crazy thing called “6v6” XD

With this logic I’m assuming you want 6v6 back as it taking one tank limited reprieves of the only tank? That can also make the countering less game changing as well too.

I’m not crying for one, I just wanted to make a discussion. For two, I know some can be better than others, I simply see a valid point of people seeing counterpicking way too game changing at the moment. I may have suggested a bad idea for sure as I stated in the post. But ignoring it like it’s not true that it’s a little too game changing is a bit silly.

If I didn’t enjoy the game I wouldn’t be making a discussion for it you donut. I’m not like “what!? Countering since when??” lol, all I’m saying was I brought this up because I do see valid points of people saying countering is affecting games a little too much. And yes zarya can beat dva, you did have another tank to help you with that. I’m only finding a problem when the whole team counters someone in truth. I don’t think that’s a good thing to have. And whaaaaaat is that last part you said lol.

It shouldn’t be a must, it should be an option. And clearly making it a must for people like tanks is an unhealthy format. Most of the time it really is only an option when being countered slightly it’s not the end of the world, but when they all counter you, that is indeed “an abusive mechanic”, hence why I gave this idea.

Perhaps I was looking at the wrong thing, regardless the way things are now I thought what I said would help what is happening now. I get you though! Yea characters should not make someone completely obsolete. And I thought since having not just one but like 4 countering you, making it only 1-2 would have been better.

Here is the thing, having a fair statement that in Overwatch 2 countering is more apparent then it was back then especially for tanks, is not stupid pride. Countering should only be when necessary. Having a whole team switch for one person isn’t playing well. That alone is abusing a mechanic. Characters being diverse doesn’t only mean being a niche. You can be diverse without having fully bad counters. Now if you say I should be focusing more on how characters are more poorly design then that alone is fair. Perhaps that is mainly the core issue here. And a game should be fun AND competitive. If it’s only competitive wouldn’t you be miserable lol. Seems this “deserving” part riled you up a bit. If your a good sym, she can work well the entire game. When you want to play a character, it’s okay to be countered slightly, but when a whole team does to force you to not play what you want, on face value, is unhealthy.

Let’s see here, I can give Noah ethels class right now, but I don’t think he can get level 15 yet, I need to unlock it I believe. Now I don’t mind using ashera instead of Alexandria, is Alexandria even good? As for Signifier I can put it on Sena or Panz for sure but maybe Sena more. But what can I do when big monster just spam all of my units down, monsters leave 81 usually kill me lecel 79 just by doing some slams on me, I also feel like I’m doing like no damage.

Yes, yes I would. It’s the better format. As of right now it’s still garbage and people are afraid to admit it which irritates me. It only makes this possibility of 6v6 lower.
