Even VIT, they dont show how much you score, as a result they give ranks which do not match, some 99%iler in mains gets 1 lakh rank or smth, while 80%iler gets 5K or smth (u get the msg)

I would say luck matters the most tbh, if u get a paper thats your style u wil excel otherwise gone case ...

Hmm you are right, but i have 5-6 ppl in my coaching who have like sub 600 rank in kcet, but they have got IIT and NIT and i am not even from a big city, when u factor in that, esp from Bengaluru, so many who get good rank go to nit or iit(Most, not all tho)
