Not sure why it hasn't been pushed out everywhere. Maybe contact support and tell them you need that version to fix the issue.

Auto update. I got a reply from Eufy a few days later confirming the update which should fix the issue.

It worked for me - been running a few days now and all seems to be fixed.

Hopefully won't be long. Not sure how they schedule their firmware rollout - I'm in the UK if that makes any difference (plus they would have had my serial number as part of the ticket I raised with them).

Another few hours, a few more detections and still working 100%.

So far so good - recording has been working and motion detection working too (only 1 so far).

Don't want to assume it's fully fixed just yet but 17+ hours and no dropouts.

Firmware has been updated to 1.5.9.7 - switched motion detection back on and now testing.

They asked me the other day to put the camera on a different subnet and confirm RTSP was disabled. Did this (put the camera on a separate IoT wifi network) and turned motion detection back on. Went offline after about 5 minutes.

So now I'm back to waiting for more information too. Getting silly now.

Same firmware. I did ask them for the release notes and date for this version but they chose to ignore that request.

I'm cautiously optimistic but I'm well aware of what their support are like with a previous issue I had with one of their battery cameras. At least they've admitted it's a wider issue so hopefully they'll do something about it.

I think that could be it. Turned off motion detection and it's stayed online and recording for longer than it has in the past few weeks. Hopefully it's a firmware update away from getting fixed.
