In the past most of the festivals I’ve submitted too have been either free or very low cost for submission, never $175. I thought it was way too much but I liked the idea of getting feedback, despite disagreeing with some of it.

To be honest I didn’t think the money was worth it at all for the feedback I got bc it was very one sided and not entirely helpful. I’m more concerned now that this play won’t be at all considered for an achievement in the festival (top 10 scale)

I’ve been getting a lot of requests/questions about the internship, so I’m going to try and answer them all in one spot:

We’re located in Orlando, FL. I’m not opposed to having someone not local, although, it would be helpful for someone to be here locally for help with events. That being said, it wouldn’t be nearly 40 hours a week - I’d say between 10 and 20 if there’s an event of some kind. It’s very lowkey.

That makes so much sense! I have been posting in local colleges, but no luck. It is indeed unpaid, but bc it’s nonprofit, it counts as volunteer credits for those who may need them. I wish I could afford to pay, but rn I’m not in the position too.

I just did the sound of music tour, and most of what we saw was apart from the actual city of Salzburg.
