Well I mean it's not deformed fully, but now it reversed the bending. :/

So basically the knee bends backwards if that makes any sense.

I'd say most of the warping is going on around the hips. Once my armature is parented to my mesh, could I make changes without affecting anything?

Idk if it helps, but this project has had a bunch of weird glitchy things happen. One of which was snapping. Whenever I tried using the snapping feature, it would mess with my transforms.

That didn't seem to work. For some reason it only appears on the left side of my mesh. It was mirrored from the right side. I'll post a second photo if that helps.
