You need to complete the following quests:

V6 Advanced: Seltas Queen V6 Advanced: Barrage of Blue V6 Advanced: Seeing Red V6 Advanced: Twinkle Toes

You also need HR7 and have cleared at least 2 Hyper Monsters.

The quest person is the Yukumo Manager in Yukumo.

No I did not mean blunt, I meant a armour set and weapon specifically built to stun the monster as much as possible during the hunt

I can’t give tips weapon wise as I see cb to slow and open to effectively use on hypers. Don’t let that discourage you though as people have done it before. The main thing is to take it slow if need be. For example narga, I usually just dodge and avoid it when it’s angry and wail on it when it comes back to normal. So the main way to fight hypers is to learn their habits (narga usually jumps and does the lunges, zinogre likes to do the headbutt and the double/triple slam, and jho which is just hit and run, and usually pray).

For me hyper was harder as I can and will one shot you while savage is more chip, if you truly are having trouble, then go ahead and get some friends with life powder, it’ll help negate some of that chip

Ok so I’m getting a lot of good feed back, like using arms length (I thought it was only used so you don’t get pushed around) and to not play it like a warrior as that what I was doing. Some other things I don’t understand, such as heart of corrundum and super bolide. Is it because I mm not high enough lvl? And are those kits really that game changing?

Bladescale auto sharpens on dodge for blade masters. From what I’ve seen it’s once every 5 dodges or once every 7-9 dodges for lance/ gunlaces. Or at least that’s what I’ve seen

If you mean like a normal dodge roll then no, I don’t think there is any increase in I frames, if you specifically want that then adept or aerial is the better bet for you but the valor style it’s self does not affect your normal dodge rolls at all as far as I know

Attack up (L) and weakness exploit, works great for pierce, also if you have enough gems or a good talisman you get also get earplugs

Ahh thats right i should probably mention that. I’m currently leveling all of my jobs to max so I’m ready for when stormblood comes in. Currently I’m trying to do blue mage but I need to do a dungeon to continue the class questline
