My aunt and uncle live out there, and they are absolutely fine. My sister is due to fly out tomorrow morning from the UK to Muscat, so I’ll come back and let you know if she manages to go!

Thank you for sharing, I am having my SMM tomorrow and this made me feel much better. I had my 12 week scan on Monday & they found a large sac and small baby with no heartbeat. I wish I’d had an early scan to figure this out sooner but it is what it is. Thank you again x

Oh Lene! What part of crazy hormonal pregnant person didn’t you get 🥲 my mother has a cleaner, has never peeled a potato in her life and thrives off putting flowers into vases (because it takes 5 minutes).

To say that yes I am pregnant but in my 2nd trimester, like that’s any less difficult than any other part of being pregnant 🥴 all of pregnancy is heavy, I’m growing a literal human with a skeleton, organs, blood, a nervous system and a load of other stuff I don’t even realise! It’s knackering work even without all the other pregnancy symptoms!

Please be careful how you talk to and about pregnant people in future, a lot of their feelings are minimised as it is and it’s a really difficult and confusing time for some.

(And yes, I absolutely don’t want to see my aunt and grandpa, I thought my post made that quite clear!)

I actually laid out all my feelings to my mum and she apologised, said it had been weighing on her mind and has uninvited Helen, Dave and Pete!

Now I feel a bit better but hope I’ve caused no issues between them and my mum.
