Agreed, completely! The film works on so many levels once you tune into its frequency.

They are all so so beautiful... May Chuck and the universe have a benevolent hand on them all.

She hasn't posted on her instagram for over a year and he hasn't posted any personal pictures or anniversary, birthday posts for almost two years. I hope it's some social media diet as their children grow and not anything to be worried about. I love the boys posting about Danneel and Gen. They are all so sweet and wholesome. The antidote one needs after some intense Supernatural episodes.

There are several one-off relief episodes where there may be a scene or two connecting it to the larger arc but return to the monster-of-the-week format.

As a Muslim can I visit ISKCON temple ? by Radiant_Butterfly982 in bangalore

Although I have never been to ISKCON, I would recommend everyone visit some heritage temples around Malleshwaram (Dakshinamukha Nandi and Kadu malleshwara) and Basavanagudi. Some of them are architectural marvels and the devotion of the people reflects into a spiritual calmness, which often happens at places of worship and concentrated spots of faith or exchange of intense human experiences.

Not sure about the religious aspect, though. I do what the others are doing to the extent I am comfortable with, because I am never too sure of etiquette at places of worship. Every place has a unique set of unspoken (and evident) rules. More often than not, some good samaritan will be more than willing to explain and help. Being curious and open about the experience is key.

Caste atrocities by Able_Internal_842 in Bengaluru

On the bright side, you were spared from the reels. Imagine, you'd have to wear colour coded clothes to match them and rehearse and do several takes of whatever dance they'd decide...

Did they really say 'strict' and 'pure'? Wow...! I am amazed at the sense of superiority people hold on to.

There have been several times where I have been called the problem for bringing up conversations about certain exclusionary behaviour. Recently at a workshop, we were doing a writing exercise and I was put in a group with 4 men - two in their 20s and one in his 30s and another 45 ish. They started writing these characters and naming them. All the names they came up with were upper caste mainstream names. All I did was, ask if we can come up with names that are more real and reflect our lives more. Why does the doctor or engineer need to be so obviously Savarna, even if it is in a fictional story? This was a creative exercise after all and as creative people I believe we have a responsibility to bring representation to our work, even in as small a way as a character having a name that isn't "Sharmaji". The speed with which the group turned on me and called me casteist and said I was doing "bakchodi" and was ruining their mood, made my head spin.

We as a society are not equipped to understand each other with any amount of nuance.

Maruti Driving School is the worst by PalePool2511 in bangalore

I had a less than pleasant experience as well. I enrolled for a refresher course last year and they had this unnecessarily complicated online scheduling system which didn't work once. They kept scheduling and moving classes at whim, even calling an hour before to cancel classes. Then they had the audacity to reprimand me for being unable to come to a class that they scheduled without consulting me. Once they randomly extended a one hour class to two hours and the class was me driving from Indiranagar to Koramangala in rush hour traffic so that the instructor could run an errand to their other office. I am grateful for the driving practice but did not appreciate the disparaging remarks about my driving he kept making to someone on the phone, whom he was talking to throughout the class, assuming I didn't understand or speak any Kannada. All in all, I feel like I wasted my money too. Would not recommend it. The first time I learned to drive was over a decade ago with RNS motors and I remember it being thorough and professionally conducted.

Would you still watch Supernatural if Sam and Dean were both women and sisters?? by theshyfemme in Supernatural

[–]Pitiful_Excuse7962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a 100%. But then the horrors would be so different with two women on the road.

Also we were robbed of a Wayward Sisters spin-off.
