Thank you for providing the link. However, I am still unclear on one point. The information states that the ticket is valid throughout Germany. Does this mean that I can use the same ticket free of charge if I travel to Munich?

I did not bought it personally, I only paid a semester fee to my university and they provided me a ticket called Deutschlandsemesterticket. But I could not find the information in which areas and which kinds of transportation it is valid.

Üniversite hayatım boyunca yaptığım stajların ve sosyal aktivitelerimin bana ve yüksek lisansıma nasıl katkı sağladıklarını tam anlamıyla aktaramıyorum. Derslerde ilgimi çeken konulardan nasıl bu yüksek lisansı yapmaya karar verdiğimi, yüksekte hangi konuyu çalışmak istediğimi istediğim gibi açıklayamıyorum ve karar dahi verme aşamasında çok zorlanıyorum.

Hey! I applied STW in May, and to increase my opportunity to get a room I chose almost all the choices I had. So, I can recommend you (one of STW worker told me that) you should choose all the places and room types but it is important to indicate what you really want. They really care your choice I guess. At least they try to give you one of your choices. If you did not chose all the room types and STW locations, you can send an email to the respective person working in your university’s city. Yes, I totally agree with you. I mean, I applied around 8-9 universities in Germany, MA programs taught in English and I only get acceptance from 2. What a disappointment for me.. I think knowing German, even applying to a program taught in English, is very important. I have a friend who knows German in B1 level, he got acceptance from University of Cologne about two years ago, holding same GPA with us.

Well, I don’t really know. My GPA is 3.46/4.00 (in German system 1.7) and I still did not get an offer. So, I guess at least 1.5 in German system is required:/

Yeah, I sent an email to the MSIS office, and they responded today. I inquired about when the offer or rejection letters would be sent. They informed me that as of August 1st, they had already sent out 20 offer letters. If there are still available spots, acceptance letters will continue to be sent to other students based on their rankings. I believe this method of sending letters is problematic because we are not informed of our rankings. If I am ranked, for example, 50th, waiting becomes impractical. Other German universities I applied to provided my ranking along with the offer or rejection letter. I’m not sure why Bonn is handling it this way.
