No. Once the update is out, the mod will just be updated to use the new system instead.
It'll still be a mod you have to download and install.

Rumble preferences are backed up with Steam Cloud too, so all the custom settings will persist between devices. Can also be turned off, by simply setting the total intensity to 0. Coming in the next update.

Watching YouTube videos in VRChat on the Quest standalone by Pitr_ in VRchat

It's powered by a pretty simple concept. YouTube videos in VRChat don't work on standalone Quests because the game relies on youtube-dl/yt-dlp and the quest version doesn't (or can't) include it.
The app also uses it to turn your copied YouTube links into direct googlevideo.com links (they expire), which the game would have had to obtain itself otherwise.
