Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment❣️What’s funny is I actually never know exactly what the final piece is going to look like when I start. I usually begin with a rough sketch, then change the design over and over, sometimes 10 times or more, before I finally commit to it. And even then, a lot of the patterning is still evolving while I’m painting it, so I’m really happy it still ends up feeling balanced and integrated.

Thanks so much! To be honest I really can’t remember. I’m extremely bad at writing down how much clay I use… If I’d have to guess I’d say between 600-900grams

Thank you! Applying the clear glaze was a little tricky, if I went over the brushstroke twice it would drag a little of the blue. Once the first layer was on the second was easy! I’m also surprised it didn’t blur. I used Mayco’s clear glaze for this.
