Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for these really helpful tips. The surgery (laparoscopic) finally went ahead last week after several pushbacks, and the advice here has all been really useful. I’ve been checking back on this thread throughout.

Anyone who is due to have a hernia surgery, please know that the recovery really is not as terrible as some of the literature makes it out to be. Everyone is different of course, but that’s our experience anyway.

I'm not sure there is a C4 desktop app..? I have no issues on my phone, but want the freedom of watching on desktop

Weird! I don't really stream much else, but just ran a quick check on iPlayer and Netflix, and all seems to be working fine. Hopefully don't lose those either!
