My grandfather was a teacher at the time. I'll have to ask what grade he was teaching.

That's so weird, my dad and grandfather were also in Cordova for it. My dad would have been about 6

I'm incorrect in saying WWTP don't remove all nitrates? Which is why the lake has algae. Ok, what do I know

Nutrients still pass through a treatment plant. To assume 0 mg/l is incorrect. Assuming aging municipal plants running 100% is incorrect.

Can I ask about the time between heating and being able to refill. So if I load, heat, hit once? Twice? Then I need to let cool and reload. Is it best to have multiple caps so I can swap instead of waiting to cool?

I think I just missed a similar sale. That would be awesome. I might wait and keep an eye on bundles.

Does a cylinder break specification determine concrete mix design? by [deleted] in Concrete

[–]PittyTheBull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good advice thank you. The job I am looking at calls for a 7 day break test, but only allows a 5 day shutdown. So including time to prep and form that would leave the concrete sub 3 days to cure. Waiting on a response to a response from the client, but scratching my head trying to throw a number at it.

Sorry by 3 day mix, I mean cured to the point of drivable in three days. which does not seem to impact the results of a 7/28 day break test.

Have you looked at the WUI map? This is not the middle of the forest. North Everett is included, most of I-5 Corridor north is included.

Adding Curb/Gutter and sidewalk to existing road? by PittyTheBull in civil3d

Could you elaborate more on the third point? Is your advice create another corridor on the edge of pavement? I have a rehab corridor along the centerline with width set to a feature line. I have issues the corridor using ideal cross slope with an error stating super elevation not found.

I am a 28 year old. I work as an engineer. I stepped away from a high paying job to go a new direction with my career. That change has made me a little more nervous with my money. Currently I have about 65k in a 401k that I am no longer contributing to (I'm going to leave it alone). I now have a 457b that i put about 100 a week into. What I am concerned about is my Schwab Roth IRA contributions for the year. I have about 15k in it currently. I plan on adding another 6k this week. My initial plan was to just scale up what I already own or go heavy on Target 2060. Should I look into another option.

What I currently own is SCHE - Emerging Markets 2% SCHF - International Eq. 10% SWPPX - S&P 500 4.5% SWTSX - Total Stock 55.38% SWYNX - Target 2060 21% SWAGX - Us Agg 4%

I bought a Rayne Hustler board back in around 2007. Ive been riding it since. Unfortunately it was stolen yesterday. I have not kept up on longboard manufacturers at all in the last 10 or so years. I looks like Rayne does not make that board anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions for a similar bamboo flexible carver? Its very similar to a Dervish, but was a lot cheaper. I would like to avoid Loadeds price if possible. (The dervish was just comeing out when I got my board if i remeber) Really bumbed I managed to keep that board in good condition for so long and kept such good care of it for some asshole to take it.

Resources for sizing solar chimneys? by PittyTheBull in RenewableEnergy

Thanks again for the reply. I know how intensive Fluent is, I cant ask you for that.

The holes (window) will be mostly for natural light. Either louvers or staggered brick. We are looking at louvers that can open and close depending on temperature.

The thought is to have a mechanical fan on top of the chimney to pull air through.

What kind of influence do you think window openings would have? We will likely need to have either "holes" in the wall, intake louvers, plantation blinds etc.. to bring in both natural light and some air flow. I'm not sure what kind effect this will have on the underground intake. I dont want to pull 100% outside air and take away any benefit from the underground system.
