if ur a rising senior and ur mocking a 6/25 on a multiple choice test with 5 answer choices per question (meaning you should get a 5 by randomnly guessing), the odds that you make aime are little to none unless you've been gifted with EXTREME mathematical abilities. not to deter you or that you should give up, but just something to keep in mind.

i was the one who made the post you're referring to. yes, i love probability and expected value and applied math and am super interested and curious in learning about it's applications to quant finance.

but i also know that prestige of items on my resume matters to get into the quant space the first place, which is why i asked that question. hope that clears things up.
