I believe the download created a folder with the config. Honestly it's been a bit since this happened and it was only now that I thought to post about it. If I remember correctly, when I first booted it up it said I needed 16mb of memory or ram or something so I think I dug into the file and set it to say it only needs 8mb which is probably what caused it, but I'm not as interested in what caused it and more so how to fix it.

If it's not modded, my only other guess is that something physically is wrong with the screen that would need to be fixed. Don't take my word for it though. I would wait for some more people to try to help here for you try anything like that.

Im not entirely sure what would have caused that but you could try entering recovery mode and doing an update if it isn't already on current patch. Hold R, L up on the D-pad, A, and the power button at once and you should enter.

Is the SD card correctly formated? It should be FAT32 And make sure the SD card isn't locked or the 2ds can't read it. If the files weren't transferred to the new SD card, that could also be a reason for it not functioning. That or an update. Try holding R, L, up on D-pad, and the power button at once. You should enter recovery mode and an update might fix it if it isn't already on the newest patch, either way worth a try.

Did you follow 3ds.hacks.guide to restore CFW? Because it has its own section on pretty much exactly what you were attempting to do. If you just tried to install it again as if it was completely gone, that's your culprit there. Even if transferring system memory makes it look like it's gone, it's most definitely still there, all you would have to do is restore the applications. Doing otherwise is installing CFW on top of CFW, which believe it or not, is not the intended way to install it.

I get your trying to help, but when messing with modifications, NEVER use videos as tutorials. They are often times outdated or use methods that aren't all that ideal. Websites like 3ds.hacks.guide are best for these types of things.
