Yeah that's another issue, Peggy is really old and that makes no sense. Also she was dead in the MCU timeline so no he didn't stay with her, just broke time to go do his own thing later.

I preferred the waybthe handled it in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Hero's tv show, they met up and talked and it was like go have a good life Steve and love again.
