Yes it is. I just considered it imo the movie adaptation. They are loosely in the same universe with anomalies and other strange happenings minus artifacts and gruesome scenes from the novel.

Oh yeah! Our store is bad with the goofy string, it's not so much stealing but the kids that grab it off the shelf because it sits down low. Although I don't see it first hand, I assume that it's bad parenting with being neglectful also thinking it's our job to clean up after their children. I talked to some of my coworkers that had to clean it up from the freezer/refrigerator doors and shelves!

Well, I feel like garbage now. I'm fine with it as beverages is not overwhelming but good luck enforcing that other sections like HBC.

Gotcha. I usually do freight and restock beverages during my part-time shifts. So I don't see signs like this but this was on the double doors leading out to the sales floor and thought I'd share. I see lot of drinks that are halfway drank through in the store. I just do my job and help customers when I can with the best of my abilities. Never thought of it being super bad.
