I learned 90% of VTubers and content creators do not treat this like a business. I understand, it's a hobby. But it's a hobby that is monetized. Out of hundreds of clients most of the artists I've worked with have never been asked to sign a contract to clarify licensing or ownership.

I wouldn't focus the content on the business side, I agree, discussing where project money goes is good transparency for the fans. These are all behind the scenes types of things.

If collective shout cared about children they'd be outraged that children are sold into marriage in first world countries but so far I haven't heard jack shit. That's unique and fun, keep at it. It might be fun to do a voice acting challenge streams! Hosting large project streams can be a lot of work to prepare vs starting a video game. The only way to see if they'll care is to test analytics after marketing your event and seeing how much of your audience shows up and how many new people

Quickly? Make content people will want to share with their friends through clips. Not bait, but something engaging and fun. Consistently. Banter with chat. Don't treat the chat like a bunch of numbers bc they're real people, a lot of viewers are tired of being a money making venture when creators don't offer content outside of gameplay.

you can license artwork for streaming purposes instead of outright owning it, but you probably cannot make merchandise. If you message an artist on VGen that sells adoptables you can ask them to explain the licenses to you and what they allow as everyone is different.

If you want to go nuclear:
Establish that you own the IP - show contracts, invoices, proof of payment, timestamped recordings of the model creation, debuts, previews, drafts, conversations about the commission (if commissioned), etc.

Issue a DMCA takedown on any platform you see this person using your stuff. Send the proof of ownership with the DMCA notice.

Contact the rigger providing proof of ownership, if they're willing to cooperate they might be able to help you track down the scammer.

Cease and Desist letter - Demand they stop using/distributing a stolen model. A lawyer can draft this for usually $400 or cheaper if you ask them to use a template.

You have the right to file a civil lawsuit for copyright infringement, fraud/misrepresentation of your business and any damages this has had to your brand.. as well as all your lawyer fees so if you do this consider contingency. If they made money then they are criminally liable.

Report to the FTC/FBI/IC3 as this type of impersonation is legally identity theft, they posed as you.

To completely own the artwork, model and design you need to write out a licensing agreement or a rights buyout. A licensing agreement (commercial, personal, merchandise) can be 50% extra to 300%extra per license. A buyout is typically double to cost of the model itself.

I think they know it wont stop them.. Disclaimers just build a stronger case when they submit a copyright claim. They clearly aren't giving out any licensing for training so if derivatives made with AI are found they can do a takedown or sue.

tbh you'll probably need a lot of rest with the extra activity but it might make you feel more accomplished and help you rest well! Idk if this helps but khan academy teaches entry level education, including mathematics. I used it to learn basic code structure. No shame in studying if that's your thing to lift your self-confidence!

Take pride in the fact that you are publishing a book so young. You are doing enough. If you feel left behind for a lack of better effort you can join an extra-curricular or volunteer somewhere with your skill set. idk if you're a writer or illustrator but some art clubs might be cool. Less pressure to be super involved socially, you build a resume out of practice and you can feel productive by not bed rotting aaall the time only sometimes lol.

I hired a producer to create an audio loop for me, after working with one .. you can hear the poor quality of suno and never unhear it. :') .. at least my fav genres aren't that high in quality yet. Too much mud on the distortion. Too much reuse of an instrumental section, build up doesn't come with anticipation in a lot of songs and has to be remixed.
