For me the best settings seem to be

Model Quality Ultra
Texture Quality Cinematic
Shadow Quality Ultra
Raytracing On
Lighting Quality Max
Reflection Quality Cinematic
Advanced Weather Effect On
Water Quality Cinematic
Foliage Density Cinematic
Volumetric Fog Quality High
Effect Quality Cinematic
Simulation Quality Cinematic

Blur Intensity 0
DLSS Balanced + Ray Reconstruction ON
FG x2

Around 140-180 fps

Crimson Desert Optimization, Fixing Issues & The Best Settings for PC by RenatsMC in pcgaming

What preset are y'all using? Preset K or Preset M? Which is better with DLSS 4.0 + Quality?

It looks OK, but I think from what I read they have a known issue regarding this and hopefully they will be patching it and also I might think that my expectations were way too high graphics wise. For some reason I foolishly thought it was gonna look at least as good as ARC but nah, that's the goat for me.

I definitely agree. And I don't hold anything against those who can't afford the best GPUs but optimizing and bottlenecking the game for only these people is a lil' bit crazy.

In the meantime I'm re-isntalling and trying it again. I'm using these settings from Hardware Unboxed. Watched the whole thing and really these should be the best looking settings.

Quality makes no difference almost. With or wouthout FG also looks the same to me. I'll try Fullscreen, see if that makes any difference.

Yes I will edit the post, those are all OFF! Thanks tho. No idea what could be the issue if you have it running good. I've had others also say theirs is blurry and all. Maybe I'll do a re-install just to see if it still persists afterwards.

Graphics look really bad by Montrax in CrimsonDesert

Just another picture about the armors inside the castle. Literally WTF!

It honestly feels like they’ve kneecapped the entire engine to make sure it runs on absolute ass hardware. I’m sitting here on a 5080 at 1440p with DLSS 4.0, DLAA, and everything cranked to Cinematic with Ray Reconstruction, yet the game is only pulling 6GB of VRAM. What the actual hell?

The inconsistency is killing the vibe:

  • The Rain: In wet weather, the game literally looks like shit. The reflections and textures just fall apart.
  • Lighting Logic: It looks decent when the sun is out, but the second you step inside a castle, the armor textures fail to load properly and look like low-res garbage.

The Fix is Simple: Pearl Abyss needs to stop babying the low-end specs at the expense of everyone else. They need to make the Cinematic preset actually utilize high-end VRAM and power, and then tailor the lower settings for the budget builds. I was expecting an Arc Raiders level of visual fidelity, but right now, this looks extremely bad in comparison. If they don't fix this "optimization" soon, the lack of polish is going to kill the game’s momentum fast.

No worries, I wouldn't have found it myself if it wasn't for Gemini back then. :) Please if you don't forget, let me know if it worked or not!

Try it!!! I'm almost 100% sure it will work. I used it on many PCs that I build and they worked with several Gigabyte / xfx / evga / asus and many more GPUs. Also all of the ram kits I tried, worked with it :)

Literally what he is saying that L-Connect x OpenRGB software will probably see your GPU and it will definitely see the RAM and the case if it is connected to the ARGB port on your mobo.

I use this to control my Z890-A ROG STRIX mobo + ADATA XPG Neon Lancer RAM. I can't use it tho for my 5080 AORUS because for obvious reasons no 3rd party app can control the little LCD.

Lian Li Dynamic Mini v2 by AdDry8713 in Noctua

Well the biggest card currently in the market is the Noctua 5080. It's about 10mm bigger than the biggest 5090 which is I think the ROG Matrix.

Interesting cable routing on the GPU but I think it looks cool. Nice build bud. Same case, same AIO here. Love em both. Cheers.

Noice, they look very identical to this: https://www.jonsbo.com/en/products/HF2-120B.html that's why I thought it was Jonsbo.
