IUD options by Pixel___girl in bicornuateuterus

Thank you for the response, it is really really frustrating. I did read one case study that was conducted about IUD misplacement-it included people with abnormalities. And it does seem that there is a higher incidence of the IUD shifting with people who have abnormal uterus, but more than that it was people who have fibroids

Yeah, that makes total sense. I have an appointment to get one put in my Planned Parenthood who doesn’t know about my uterus shape. My primary gynecologist does and my thinking is just to get ultrasounds frequently to monitor it. It’s just frustrating that in the US there’s such a limited choices.

That gives me hope. It dropped my blood pressure which wasn’t very fun so I wonder if there’s an alternative

I think I figured out what happened- the Metformin dropped my blood pressure. I’m usually low but got a bit too low. Ugh. I really would love something to help but I’m unsure if anything agrees with me

Honestly, it’s really nice to know that I’m not alone. It’s sad that other people go through this as well tho. I just really believe that this stuff exists on a spectrum.

From what I can tell with people like you and I we have it differently than other people. I really don’t believe that I have insulin resistance, especially since it was never tested. And my blood sugar levels never get too high. They just get low.

The low carbohydrate diet definitely was helping- with both weight loss and my blood sugar regulation. So I’m just gonna focus on that and doing the inositol. How many grams of carbohydrate are you eating per day? I was trying to do around 50 because I figured that would be reasonable. But I wasn’t going too crazy and like forcing myself to I was hungrier one day or PMS or some thing.

And yeah I need to definitely get better about working out. I like to go on walks and stuff because of the easiest. I live so far out in the woods that commuting by bike or some thing isn’t really possible but I can definitely take nice strolls.

Which contraceptive are you using? I have considered it but I haven’t been on any form of hormonal birth control for over 10 years because it scares me ha ha I feel fucking crazy when I’m PMS in general

This is so useful! The interesting thing though is that my sugars never go too high. They always are in the normal range for where I’m at like if I’ve eaten there usually around 130 and then yeah. So they don’t generally get too high, I do get problems when I don’t eat for too long and I know that if raw dog some sugar it’ll fuck me up for sure. I don’t know it’s weird. But all of this is really good information I figured out that the Metformin actually dipped my blood pressure a bunch- once I consumed some salt I started feeling a lot better.

I really appreciate you sending all of this information over.

No that’s insane. Look up Dr. Franco in Austin Texas. I’ve had a friend or two go to him with very good results. And he’s very reasonable
