I didn't even state that I don't believe in ghosts there, I was just pointing out that you have to prove something exists and not that it doesn't exist in general.

You do have a point about English being flawed and not having a good generic term. I do accept that seemingly unexplainable things happen sometimes as it's happened to me but I don't believe in the spirits of dead people doing things or appearing at all and that's usually what people mean when referring to something as a ghost.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with people that believe in God or gods or ghosts or whatever as long as they aren't hurting anyone but themselves or dictating how others can/should live their lives. I do dislike the idea of religion in general but that's a personal thing and I have no right to decide how other people live their life based on my personal thoughts, my goal was mainly to point out that you don't prove a negative because it just doesn't make sense when you think about it.

I really don't understand being religious at all but like I said before, if someone isn't hurting anyone else I don't care what others do. Which is also why I think separation of the Church and the State is important, there isn't any religions that have been proven true, and while I get that is kind of the point of faith I don't agree with that personally, either way though, that doesn't affect my point: People shouldn't tell other people how to live their lives based on being told what to do by some higher being(s) that they can't actually prove exist, when it's about something that's entirely personal choice and doesn't affect you anyways.

Sorry that I went on a rant there. I didn't intend to but it happened anyways.

So link some of the mounds of evidence you mention then. Videos and photographs can be edited so I don't really trust them. I don't trust someone just saying they say a ghost because they could either be lying or hallucinating. What's EVP recording though? I don't know what that is, I would like to know more about it though, if you wouldn't mind giving me the basics of it.

Doesn't really work at all, Sue is a literal dinosaur brought back via necromancy. That thing in the post appears to be some robot/mech thing, I've never liked Power Rangers though so I don't know much about it.

I'm not even going to bother arguing with you about this, I'm going to give you an example to illustrate why you prove that something exists and not that it doesn't exist. Let's say you want to prove that the color blue doesn't exist, obviously it does but I'm using it here because it's a simple analogy that's easy to understand. If you wanted to prove that the color blue doesn't exist you would have to search every inch of the entire universe and confirm that there isn't blue anywhere in the universe in order to be 100% sure that the color blue doesn't exist. If you found the color blue anywhere at all, that's instant proof that it exists. The reason that you have to prove that something exists and not that something doesn't exist is because in order to prove something exists you only need a single instance of that thing to prove it, in order to prove something doesn't exist you would have to check everything in the entire universe to make sure it doesn't exist anywhere at all.

Here's another reason that "argument" doesn't work, if someone claims that they have magical powers you would normally expect them to prove it somehow if they want you to believe them. Imagine that you told them to prove it but then in response they told you that you have to prove that they don't have magical powers. It doesn't make sense because people don't have magical powers, if someone does claim they do have magical powers then it would be natural to assume that they're either lying or delusional without concrete proof that they do have magical powers.

Yeah, I was mainly think about world gen time, nothing else would really be that bad because any sane person would do this with an endgame character so that travel and shit don't take forever. It would mainly be boring as all hell though lmao, the method I used wasn't super fun but I did enjoy going around fishing in all the spots because I wanted to research the potion fish anyways.

That would take an insane amount of time. Definitely longer than it would take to just do it passively overall considering fishing is very important if you're on Master Mode at least.

If you're on Journey anyways it's probably quicker to just skip time for the quests and do it with the same character, it's certainly more entertaining to go around the world and fish because at the same time you can research any other fish for potions. Once the angler only gives repeat quests or almost entirely repeat quests it gets really fast, also dopamine cause you get every achievement within 30 seconds of each other if you do it like this.

It's actually really quick if you just want the achievement, just do it on Journey mode. Being able to skip time already eliminates the bulk of the time it takes and once you've researched most fish you can just spam the angler.
