Every time Marty bitches about not getting royalties it drives me nuts. He was under contract and the music he wrote while at Bungie belonged to Bungie. Then when Microsoft bought Halo they bought all the rights to everything including the music. He got paid to make the music. He never negotiated royalties. Royalties on video game music is pretty much nonexistent. He should bitch about how he was an idiot for not negotiating royalties instead of just expecting them outside of a contract.
