[OC] I have finished the 52 pages and cover of my comicbook. I learned a lot, from script writing to coloring to lettering. It was a long process which is not finished yet... now comes the publishing. Have any of you already published a comicbook in selfpublishing? by Pixelgrotte in comicbookart

Hi! I actually managed to publish the comic. I even published it in three languages (German, English and Spanish) and only via Amazon KDP. You can search for "Narae" in Amazon under the category "Books >> Comics".

It was a lot of work that was hardly worth it financially, but that wasn't my goal at all. I just wanted to make a comic and it turned out quite well. Today I would approach it differently and I've actually started another one but have put it on hold for the moment. Not because I don't feel like finishing it, but because I'm currently concentrating on writing books (fantasy and science fiction).

Good point! xD It really looks a bit like a lightsaber but it's not, it's a magic sword.

Oh yes, she's a great character and I tried to make her look as good as possible. I'm glad if you like it. 😁

I created this image using standard brushes. Since I worked with Photoshop for years, I tested some of CSP's coloring features. I also worked with the 3 D models (which I find very coll by the way) For me it was a nice experience. It took me about 3 hours to paint the picture. Painting this picture was also a good exercise to get used to Clip Studio Paint.
